The Tor, sponsored by BOREAL, returns to Big Rock Bond on the 5th April 2025.
Test yourself against our 30 qualifying blocs, starting at V0 in the Open categories, and 25 blocs in the Youth and Teen categories. Only the top 6 qualifiers in each make it through to the final, where Open competitors will battle it out in a thrilling final for the £500 top prize!
New this year is the Local Hero Comp, an age-category competition just for our regulars. If you’re a Big Rock member, pass, or punch card holder, your Tor scorecard will also be your entry for Local Hero.
Entry is just £10 and spaces are limited!

Qualification: 2:30 pm – 5:30 pm
Final: Isolation 6:15 pm for 6:30 pm start
Cash podium prizes: 1st £500, 2nd £250, 3rd £100

9 am – 12 pm
Teen
Male & Female categories (Under 16)

Qualification: 9 am – 12 pm

Local Hero
It’s a competition within a competition just for Big Rock regulars! If you have a monthly or annual membership, 1-month pass, or punch card with us on the day of the comp, your entry to The Tor includes entry into the Local Hero comp. Like the Winter Boulder Series, prizes will be awarded to the top three in each age-group category.
To enter, simply enter The Tor when entries open, then collect your scorecard on the day of the comp and get ticking!

Prizes will be awarded to the top three scores in each of the Local Hero categories.
