At Big Rock this Christmas we’re ditching the Secret Santa for a Giving Tree in support of KidsOut, a charity dedicated to supporting some of the UK’s most disadvantaged and vulnerable children with positive and happy experiences.

KidsOut’s Giving Tree initiative is a fun alternative to the traditional Secret Santa. Instead of buying anonymous gifts for colleagues, the Giving Tree encourages people to buy a toy or gift for a disadvantaged child. Many of the recipients are children who have escaped domestic violence, being forced to flee their homes quickly and leave all possessions behind. Without Giving Tree, these children may not otherwise receive a gift at Christmas.

How can I help?

You can donate buy purchasing a physical toy, or buy it directly from the Fun & Happiness shop on the KidsOut website:

The Giving Tree

  • Take a tag from our Giving Tree in the centres. The tag has the childs name, age, and the gift they would like on it.

  • Purchase the toy on the tag.

  • Bring your present back to Big Rock by the 12th of December.
